Beginning Monday, October 9th at 7pm, our program ELEVATE: 40 Day Yoga & Meditation Challenge begins! Join Liv Toepfer and Becky Dreps for this 6 week progressive journey into personal transformation through yoga, meditation, nutrition and self-inquiry. 

This program is based on Baron Baptiste's book, 40 Days To A Personal Revolution.  It spans 40 Days because it takes 40 days to create a habit.  Over the course of these 40 days you will get clear on the areas of your life and old behaviors that are not working, what habits keep you feeling stagnant in life and prevent you from living wholeheartedly. Together we will discover a new way of being and what actions to take that produces the results you truly desire. 

Each week has a unique theme based on The 12 Laws of Transformation, which includes a customized daily yoga practice, meditation, balanced diet and journaling. All of which lead you on a path of self discovery to let go of anything that drains your energy and unleash your inner power. 

We will meet once a week as a group on Monday nights at 7pm-8:45pm, October 9th - November 17th . During our time together we will share our experiences to uplift and motivate each other to roll out the mat and do the work.


You are welcome to just join us for the program only and attend our weekly Monday meeting. The daily yoga & meditatioon practice would be completed on your own at home, outdoors or at another studio that is maybe more convenient for you. You are also welcome to drop into a class at The Yoga Yurt anytime for our drop in rate of $20/class.


If you you would like to join us in the Yoga Yurt at Upekkha Retreat to accomplishyour daily yoga, meditation and breathwork practice within our supportive community, there is a speical package that includes the program with the weekly Monday Meeting and  a discounted membership that includes unlimited classes Monday-Thursday during  the 6 weeks. You will also receive a 10% discount on select workshps and events for the remainder of 2023.

What does it take for you to be fully present? Giving your full attention is a precious gift.  When you take time to become present to yourself, you gain access to how you can be present for others in your life.

  • Law 1: Seek the Truth
  • Law 2: Be Willing to Come Apart

What habits have you developed that keep you from living in a space of joy and vibrancy? Disrupt your drift, your unconscious living and bring your attention to what is actually happening in your life.

  • Law 3: Step out of Your Comfort Zone
  • Law 4: Commit to Growth

The definition of equanimity is mental calmness, composure and an evenness of temper, especially in a difficult situation.

Where in your life do you see that you could use a little more equanimity? Resistance is the enemy of equanimity and as such, look for places in your life where you are resisting. 

  • Law 5: Shift Your Vision
  • Law 6: Drop What You Know

To reach a place of restoration, it takes conscious noticing and not reacting. Coming from a place of relaxing with what is and not from a place of forcing a way of being. Give yourself time to restore, reset and recharge, let go of struggling. Taking time out for yourself is a necessity, not a thing that must be deserved or earned. 

  • Law 7: Relax with What Is
  • Law 8: Remove the Rocks

Put your attention on your feet being on the ground, connected to the Earth. Come from a place of attention to movement, intentional movements and actions. Look for the natural rhythms of life as you go about your daily tasks, keeping your attention tuned to being present and centered in the midst of whatever it is that you’re up to from moment to moment.

  • Law 9: Don’t Rush the Process
  • Law 10: Be True to Yourself

Allow time to celebrate your successes, no matter how small or insignificant you might think they are. Taking time to honor your achievements allows you to reflect on how you’ve transformed through mindful living. You cannot be full present to others’ triumphs if you belittle your own.

  • Law 11: Be Still and Know
  • Law 12: Understand That the Whole Is the Goal

I personally love Law 11, Be Still and Know - this has really been my core mantra that has taken me deeper into connection with my my own internal self, Higher Self, the spirit realm and Source.
